Until there's a cure, there's a camp!

Kalen Oakman, a Camp Ambassador, talked about why Care Camps is such an important program by explaining that “[The kids] can come for that one week, they’re actually a kid. They’re not sick, they’re just like everyone else.”

Care Camps is a system of 129 specialized summer camps located throughout North America that provide a week long summer camp experience to children with cancer and their siblings. The Care Camps charity was created in the early 1980s by the Kampgrounds of America Owners Association, and is supported through the fundraising efforts of KOA campground owners, Kampgrounds of America Inc., and several major camping and RV industry sponsors.

Along with a cash donation through Thor Industries, Keystone supplied a Fuzion Impact to Camp Watcha Wanna Do near Ft. Wayne. Matt Zimmerman, the CEO of Keystone RV, said “We wanted to make a financial commitment to this organization so they can help these kids really kind of forget their everyday battles and some of the odds their facing right now.”
