Camping in the Midwest can be a thrill visiting your favorite amusement parks. You can enjoy family time screaming your way to the top of a roller coaster or screaming your way down! There are campsites nearby every amusement park for your convenience. Check out the top 15 amusement parks below.

1. Six Flags Great America Gurnee, IL

This popular park offers roller coasters and a 20-acre water park, located 45 minutes northwest of Chicago. Enjoy Looney Tunes character meet and greets as you take a break from the thrill rides. https://www.sixflags.com/greatamerica
