Texas Couple Claims New Passport RV Prize

KOA NEWS SERVICE – Lawrence and Sondra Clark are now the proud owners of a new Keystone Passport recreation vehicle. The Clarks won the first half of Kampgrounds of America’s “Spin To Win” contest earlier this year.

The Lumberton, Texas couple took possession of their new RV last week. The prize was presented at Happy Trails RV in Lumberton by Aaron Williamson, general manager of the Lake Conroe/Houston North, Texas KOA Campground, and his wife, Linda.

The KOA Spin To Win Contest was conducted in partnership with Keystone RV Company, the largest manufacturer of towable recreational vehicles in the world.

Montana Rear Den Knocks it Out of the Park

Keystone RV Company has reported record sales at its recent dealers-only Open House, with the newly revamped Montana flagship brand one of the many bright spots.

According to Keystone dealers attending the trade-only show, Montana simply knocked it out of the park with its completely redesigned models.

Said one large Keystone dealer with multiple locations in southern California, “As a long-time Montana dealer, our team feels the brand has raised its game to a whole new level with the right price, eye appeal, and industry-leading floorplans like the 3791RD. A raised rear den with additional pass through storage in the rear…leave it to Montana to think of that first.”

Sports Illustrated Tailgate Tour Kicks Off

The Sports Illustrated (SI) on Campus Tailgate Tour presented by Go RVing will kick off its second year at the Florida State – Oklahoma State football game on Saturday, Aug. 30, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX.

In its debut last year, more than 30,000 consumers attended the Go RVing and Sports Illustrated tailgate events with more than 4,000 touring the featured RVs over the course of the tour’s six stops at college football games.

Based on that success, this year’s Sports Illustrated (SI) on Campus Tailgate Tour presented by Go RVing, which will feature a motorhome and a Keystone Bullet Premier travel trailer, is being expanded to 10 college football games. 

The Keystone Premier is an ultra lite model that can sleep 8 and comes with an outdoor kitchen perfect for tailgating or just about any outdoor activity.

The tour is designed to be a high-impact, on-site consumer event that showcases RVs the ideal tailgate vehicles and provides fans the opportunity to tour the units.  There will also be cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, fan games and giveaways, and autograph and photo opportunities with Sports Illustrated personalities and college football alumni.

Through the partnership with Sports Illustrated, Go RVing content and video coverage of the tour stops will appear on Sports Illustrated website properties and their social media outlets.

Following the Florida State – Oklahoma State game, the SI on Campus Tailgate Tour presented by Go RVing will hit the Ohio State – Virginia Tech game in Columbus, OH on Sept. 6; the Iowa – Iowa State game in Iowa City, IA on Sept. 13; the Nebraska – Miami game in Lincoln, NE on Sept. 20; the UCLA – Utah game in Los Angeles, CA on Oc. 4; the Oklahoma – Kansas State game in Norman, OK on Oct. 18; the Tennessee – Alabama game in Knoxville, TN on Oct. 25; the South Carolina – Tennessee game in Columbia, SC on Nov. 1; the North Carolina State – Georgia Tech game in Raleigh, NC on Nov. 8; and the Florida – South Carolina game in Gainesville, FL.
