National Dealer Association Honors Keystone with Awards

The National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) honored Keystone RV Company’s Cougar, Hideout, Laredo, Montana, Outback, Raptor and Sprinter divisions with the  Association’s prestigious Quality Circle Award.

While Keystone RV has been a perennial Quality Circle Award winner, this year’s total of seven Awards sets a company record.

The Quality Circle Award recognizes dealer satisfaction in the areas of vehicle design and reliability, competitive advantage, communications, sales and service support.  These results were based on a survey of RV dealers conducted by RVDA between April and July 2013.  The Award will be presented to Keystone December 2, in Louisville, Kentucky, just prior to the opening of the National RV Trade Show.

Eight Ways to Beat the Heat

Eight ways to beat the heat.
The Dog Days of Summer are upon us and so is the extreme heat.  Give your RV’s air conditioner every advantage by following these eight simple steps—
1.     Maximize “passive solar” and camp in the shade when possible.  Simply parking under a tree will lower the interior temperature of your RV by several degrees and help your AC and your RV refrigerator run more efficiently.
2.    Extend your patio awning and window awnings, if you have them, and lower day/nights shade or blinds to keep the sun out and the cool in.
