Luca's Dream

A  three-year-old will now have a place to enjoy camping with his family when he received his wish to have a travel trailer granted by Keystone RV Co. and Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana.

“Wish kid” Luca Hahn is battling Dravat syndrome, a rare and catastrophic form of intractable epilepsy that begins in infancy. It is a debilitating, life-long condition that can severely impede the quality of life of the patient. Keystone RV heavily discounted the travel trailer, making Luca’s dream of camping “outside” a reality.

“Luca and his wish have captured our hearts and we’re honored to be able to help make his wish come true,”said Jeff Runels, president of Keystone RV. “This Hideout travel trailer will provide a place for Luca to spend time with family and friends and build many memories. We’re excited to have Luca and his family visit our dealer, Walnut Ridge Family RV Sales, and see his face as he received his most heartfelt wish.”

Seven Keystone Brands Earn Quality Award

The Recreational Vehicle Dealer Association (RVDA) has recognized Keystone RV with seven Quality Circle Awards.

The DSI Quality Circle Award recognizes the high level of success Keystone has earned in working with their dealer business partners, according to RVDA Chairman of the Board Darrel Friesen of All Seasons RV Center in Yuba City, CA. “Their commitment to continuously improving products and services ultimately helps dealers serve customers better and preserves our industry’s share of consumers’ discretionary dollars.”

Says Keystone RV Company CEO Matt Zimmerman, “RVDA raised the bar this year by making the requirements to earn an Award even more stringent. This is a good thing since it pushes manufacturers to continue to improve. We at Keystone are focused on creating a winning customer experience and are honored to have been selected by our dealer partners for these Awards.”

Sprinter Leads Charge for Solar

Keystone RV Company’s Sprinter division now features “Plug ‘N Play” solar prep as standard equipment on all Sprinter travel trailers and fifth wheels, including its price-leading Campfire line. Getting off-the-grid is now a simple matter of plugging a Furrion™ solar panel and charger kit into the Sprinter’s solar port and enjoying free electricity from the sun.

According to Sprinter General Manager Josh Miller, including Plug ‘N Play solar prep fits Sprinter’s long-time mission to “Make Camping Easy.”  Sprinter is Keystone RV Company’s very first brand, celebrating its 20th Anniversary.  Miller describes the changes in the product since they first rolled off the assembly line in 1996 as “hard to imagine.” Explains Miller, “Today’s Sprinter compared to the 1996 model is night and day.  For example, things like 18-cubic foot residential refrigerators, LED lighting, power awnings, flat-screen TVs and Bluetooth didn’t in all practicality exist back then.  Today you will find these features and much more on the new 2016 Sprinters.  By adding Plug ‘N Play solar prep we are propelling Sprinter into the next generation of RVs.”
